Berry Bog Adventures- Step Into the Harvest!

Ready for a hands-on New England fall experience? Join us at Benson’s Pond Cranberries for our Berry Bog Adventures, an immersive cranberry harvest experience limited to fewer than 25 guests per tour. We'll supply the waders, giving you the opportunity to step into the bog, and be part of the harvest action as you learn directly from the farmers. Bring your camera—this experience is packed with unforgettable photo moments and classic New England scenery.

During this ~2-hour guided experience, you’ll:

• Wade through an active flood cranberry bog
• See harvest equipment in action
• Learn the traditions and techniques of cranberry farming
• Enjoy cranberry-inspired snacks
• Take home fresh cranberries straight from the bog

Important Details

• Children 12+ are welcome with adult supervision and a signed parent/guardian waiver. Certain cranberry bogs when harvested are deeper than others. We suggest a minimum height to enter the bog: 4 ft 5 in (for water depth and safety)
• Guests are welcome to hang on the patio or shop in the store but we ask only those with a reservation join us on the tour activities. Guests are asked to stay in approved areas until after the tour.
• Waders are available in standard men’s shoe sizes 5–15, with limited XL and 2XL options

Farm-to-Table Harvest Dinner with a Berry Bog Adventure

Experience cranberry harvest season from bog to table at our historic cranberry farm. Begin your evening with a 2-hour Berry Bog Adventure, where you’ll done a pair of waders, step into the bog, learn from the growers, and take part in the harvest firsthand.

After the adventure, gather for appetizers and an intimate farm-to-table dinner inside our antique sorting house. Enjoy a candlelit meal featuring cranberry-infused dishes and seasonal specialties prepared by Cranberry Vine Catering, crafted with locally sourced ingredients and paired with local beverages. Surrounded by the sights and spirit of the harvest, this evening celebrates community, tradition, and fresh New England flavors.
