As a guest on our family farm, you'll be part of an intimate group (less than 25 guests join us during any given Bogger Experience). You’ll not be on the sidelines here but part of the harvest action, waders, and all! Note: the afternoons of October 5th, 12th and 13th are not available as we are hosting our Harvest Dinner and Harvest Crews & Brews events.  For tickets to these events please go to our events page and book separately.

What to expect on your adventure

Your Berry Bog Adventure will last approximately 2 hours and include hands on in the bog cranberry harvest experience, talk with the growers, demonstration of antique harvest equipment, fresh cranberries, and some cranberry inspired snacks and beverages!

Upon your arrival we'll get you situated into your waders and enjoy some cranberry snacks before we head off to see harvest in action and experience the Bogger life! We’ll then head out to the bogs to chat with the cranberry grower, get into the harvest action and of course snap some crantastic pics.

Following all the bog action you’ll head back to the Barn to enjoy a demonstration of antique harvest equipment where each guest will receive their own supply of fresh cranberries to take home and enjoy!

If anyone in your party has any allergies or accessibility issues, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your needs!

Ages: Our Berry Bog Adventures are for ages 13 plus due to water levels and safety. For younger ages, please check out our Berry Bog Family Photo Op Day on October 7^th or our Berry Bog Photo Op add on option at our Harvest Crews & Brews event on October 5^th.

Berry Bog Recommended Apparel

This event includes outside and inside activities in rustic settings including water. We recommend checking the weather prior to arriving and bringing a spare set of clothing is recommended, just in case! 

Bottoms - You will have the opportunity to be in waders for ~1 – 1.5 hours of the experience. We suggest wearing long pants (not leggings) and bringing thick long socks to ensure comfort while wearing the waders. Pants with belt loops are suggested. 

Tops – The days on the bogs can be cool. We suggest bringing layers to account for temperature fluctuations. 

Shoes – The area surrounding the bogs is composed of primarily sandy and some rocky soils, sneakers, or other “rugged” closed toe shoes are recommended. High heels or sandals are not recommended.

Other Berry Tips

• Participants are encouraged to arrive up to 30 minutes early for registration and parking so your experience can start on time.
• We recommend limiting jewelry as it can get in the way of putting waders on and off and you will be in flooded bogs.
• We have a farm store with cranberry themed items. We take cash or credit cards, apple pay etc.  
• Camera’s/Cell Phones – we know you’ll want to take tons of great photos to document this bucket list level event…but as you’ve seen in the tv advertisement cranberry harvest typically include water, so please be aware of the water when bringing any photography equipment or electronics around the harvest area. We can assist with photo-ops if you wish to have us take some photos for you on your device.
• All in the bog experiences require a signed waiver for each participant with parent or guardian singing for anyone under 18. 
• Please leave all furry friends at home.
